Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your ReceiptSnap account and the data we hold for it. The fastest way is from inside the app — if you can't access it, you can also email us and we'll handle it for you.
Option 1 — From the app (recommended)
- Open ReceiptSnap on your iPhone or iPad.
- Go to Profile → Account.
- Tap "Delete account" and confirm.
The deletion runs immediately. You'll be signed out and your data is removed from our servers.
Option 2 — By email
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, send us a request and we'll process it manually.

Include in the email:
- The email address associated with your ReceiptSnap account (so we can identify it).
- A short confirmation that you want your account and data deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (email, name, preferences).
- All saved receipts, including images and OCR results stored on our servers.
- Return windows, warranty records and reminders linked to your account.
- Spending history derived from your saved receipts.
- Trial and subscription usage data tied to your account.
What we don't control
- App Store / Google Play subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. To stop being billed you must also cancel from your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Receipts you exported (PDF or CSV) to your own device or cloud stay where you saved them — only you can remove those copies.
- Anonymised, aggregated logs that no longer identify you may be retained for security and abuse prevention, in line with our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
In-app deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are handled within 7 business days. We'll reply once the deletion is complete.
This is permanent
Account deletion can't be undone. Once your data is removed we can't restore receipts, warranties or reminders. If you only want to take a break, sign out instead.
